I feel like I see peach yoghurts all the time, but I hardly ever see peach ice cream anywhere. And peaches aren’t an uncommon dessert fruit, so I wanted to make this peach ice cream recipe while peaches are in season and there’s still long enough left in summer to enjoy it. Eat alone, or serve with your favourite peach dessert.
Heads up, you will need an ice cream maker for this recipe.
This peach ice cream recipe is gluten free and vegan friendly, and it’s a coconut free peach ice cream recipe. I can’t eat more than a tiny bit of coconut, and that rules out the vast majority of vegan desserts on the market, especially when it comes to ice cream. So, for anyone else out there who can’t eat coconut, or simply can’t stand it, this recipe is for you.

Ingredient Choices & Substitutions
The combination of the avocado and vegan cream makes a very thick creamy texture, not too dissimilar to that of coconut milk, making it the perfect swap for coconut cream if you need a coconut free vegan dessert. I used some added maple syrup in mine as my peaches weren’t quite ripe enough to be fully sweet. If you have perfectly ripe peaches, you can probably skip the added sweetener.
This recipe is made with some small peach chunks in it. If you want to have a completely smooth batch, you’ll only need three peaches and can skip the final step of adding the chopped peach.

Vegan Peach Ice Cream Recipe
Coconut free creamy soft serve peach ice cream recipe made with just fresh peaches, avocado and vegan cream.

-
Setup your ice cream maker following manufactures instructions. Mine has to be turned on and already churning before you add your liquid.
-
Pour your prepared liquid into the ice cream maker, then add in the jam, which will then lightly swirl into the mix and combine with your prepared liquid mix.
-
Leave to churn following manufacturer’s instructions, I left mine for approximately 40 minutes. Add your final peeled peach about five minutes before your ice cream is due to be finished to get some small peach chunks in your ice cream. Once ready, serve as a soft serve ice cream, or transfer into a freezer friendly container and freeze for slightly longer if you’d prefer a more solid scoop.
Serve and enjoy!
Until next time,
