This delicious sweet greens smoothie is a perfect side to your breakfast or morning refresh. It contains just four ingredients and is packed with vitamin c and antioxidants.
One batch yields approximately 600ml of liquid, so you can share it or serve it as one larger serving. This dish is the perfect refreshing side to a healthy protein packed breakfast, but this is just a fruit and vegetable mix, so not the ideal balanced ‘meal’ on its own.

Ingredient Choices and Substitutions
There’s zero added protein in this recipe, so if you are wanting to have this as an on the go breakfast option, add a scoop of protein powder or add some Greek style yoghurt to the mix to make it a little more filling and balanced.
I used ingredients based on what’s in season right now and this month’s ingredients of the month, but you can make some changes to suit your preferences and/or what you have in. Swapping the spinach for kale or the frozen pineapple for frozen mango will keep the texture and overall sweetness levels the same, with very similar nutritional content too.
