In my humble opinion, I saved the best of my strawberries and cream recipes for last, this year. If you happened to see my Oreo Cheesecake Bites Recipe from Recipe A Day May this year, you might notice that they inspired this strawberry white chocolate cheesecake bites recipe.
They’re sweet, rich, creamy, gooey and crunchy all in one. Extremely decadent, but the bite sized balls mean they’re not too indulgent.

I know that description probably sounds OTT, but let me explain. I made two versions of these, some of them have a little blob of strawberry jam in the centre, others have a piece of strawberry Urban Fruit. Both sounded like a good idea, and I wanted to make both to see if I had a clear preference. I didn’t, they’re both delicious, so I’m sharing both below. That component is on the centre of the cheesecake, which is comprised of smashed up GF style jammy Dodger biscuits mixed with almond milk cream cheese and strawberry jam, then the whole balls are coated in white chocolate.
If they were any bigger than they are, they’d be extremely sickly. Which is exactly how I like my desserts, but if you don’t have the sweetest tooth, this one probably isn’t for you.
Nutritional Information
It will come as no shock to anyone that the nutritional value in each of these is quite poor. They hardly contain any protein or fibre, fairly high sugar. One good note, the fat content isn’t extremely high. But that’s about all we have here. Each ball contains 128 calories, 6.4g of fat, 2.4g of saturated fat, 2g of protein and only half a gram of fibre.
Ingredients Choices
I used Nush cream cheese, and a supermarket own brand free from Jammie Dodger alternative. For anyone unaware of what they are. They’re round biscuits in two layers with some jam sandwiched between them. If you’re not gluten free, regular Jammie Dodger biscuits are now vegan friendly, so you won’t need to find a free from alternative.
For this recipe, I used my favourite free from strawberry white chocolate from Morrison’s with the freezedried strawberries in it, but any vegan white will work.

Strawberry White Chocolate Cheesecake Bites Recipe
Sweet and indulgent strawberry white chocolate cheesecake bites recipe, the perfect mini indulgence for summer.
This recipe is gluten free and vegan. It does contain nuts and may contain soy depending on your chocolate alternative and biscuits of choice.

Strawberry White Chocolate Cheesecake Bites Recipe
Ingredients
Either
- 50 g of Urban Fruit Strawberry
- Or 3 heaped tbsp strawberry jam
And
- 100 g vegan cream cheese
- 140 g vegan + GF jammy biscuits
- 1 tbsp strawberry jam
- 100 g Vegan white chocolate
Instructions
-
If you’re opting to use Urban Fruit, you can skip this step. But if you’re using jam, line a baking tray with greaseproof paper, split your jam into roughly 14 equal sized dots, place them on the lined tray and put them in the freezer while you prep the rest of the ingredients. if you’re using Urban Fruit, count out 14 pieces and set aside.
-
Place your biscuits in a zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin to break them up into smaller pieces. Combine your crushed biscuits with the cream cheese alternative and 1tbsp of strawberry jam, and mix until they’re evenly combined. You could pulse your biscuits in a food processor then add the cream cheese, or mix them together with a hand mixer if you’d prefer to make the process a little easier.
-
Remove jam from the freezer, if using. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Roll your jammy cream cheese mix into small balls around your Urban Fruit or jam balls with your hands, you should end up with around 14. Try to roll them so that the jam/ Urban Fruit piece is as close to the centre of the cheesecake mix as possible. Place the tray in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to set them.
-
When your balls are frozen, melt your chocolate chips in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water. Dip your balls into the melted chocolate, you can either swirl them in, use a fork to create patterns with the melted chocolate, or use a skewer to neatly dip them in and get a smooth finish.
-
Place the coated balls back on the baking tray and store in the fridge for an hour until the chocolate has fully set.
Serve and enjoy!
-
Ideally store in the fridge, or a very cool and dry place
Do you like the sound of these strawberry white chocolate cheesecake bites? Would you opt for jam in the centre, or some Urban Fruit, or a half and half batch?
Until next time,
