Gluten free vegan Oreo cheesecake bites recipe? Yes, Oreos aren’t gluten free but we’ll get to that in a minute. These Oreo cheesecake bites are rich, creamy and possibly the easiest things on earth to make. They only require three ingredients and a little patience to make this deliciously indulgent snack.
Three ingredients and a little patience? You don’t need any equipment at all to make this recipe, you may wish to use a food processor to make the mixing process a little easier, but that’s not essential. I made mine by hand I’m usually the first person to reach for an appliance if I think it will make things easier.
Yes, these are rich, but they’re also on the smaller side, so they’re only 115 calories each, so they’re not massively indulgent even if you’re trying to opt for healthier choices.

Ingredient Choices
I used the Nush almond milk cream cheese for mine, and I’ve specified that exact one below. Textures can vary a lot when it comes to alternatives and depending on what they’re made from so I can’t guarantee the same results if another one is used.
I’m sure many people reading this will be aware that although Oreos are vegan friendly in the UK (check in your country if you live elsewhere), they’re not gluten free, and they don’t offer a gluten free alternative here. I believe gluten free Oreos are available in the US. But we have plenty of Oreo style biscuits available from free from brands and ranges here in the UK.
I opted for a packet from the Morrisons own brand range, which I thought tasted a lot like regular Oreos, but Lovemore also do some which are available from several UK supermarkets, and you can get The Vegan Bakery ones from The Vegan Kind online.

Vegan Oreo Cheesecake Bites Recipe
Oreo cheesecake bites are fun, easy to make, and will remind you of a chocolate truffle, but instead of a chocolate filling, you get a rich, decadent Oreo cream cheese filling. The perfect sweet treat for any occasion, and they’re very easy to switch up if you wish to make them with a different flavour too.
This recipe is gluten free, dairy free, vegan and soy free. It does contain nuts. Check your chocolate for soy content if that’s an allergen of concern for you!

Vegan Oreo Cheesecake Bites
Ingredients
- 160 g Oreo or GF alternative
- 100 g Nush Almond Cream Cheese
- 120 g dark chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Place your biscuits in a zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin to break them up into smaller pieces. Combine your crushed biscuits with the cream cheese alternative and mix until they’re evenly combined. You could pulse your biscuits in a food processor then add the cream cheese, or mix them together with a hand mixer if you’d prefer to make the process a little easier.
-
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Roll your Oreo cream cheese mix into small balls with your hands, you should end up with around 15. Place the tray in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to set them.
-
When your Oreo balls are frozen, melt your chocolate chips in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water. Dip your balls into the melted chocolate, you can either swirl them in, use a fork to create patterns with the melted chocolate, or use a skewer to neatly dip them in and get a smooth finish.
-
Place the coated balls back on the baking tray and store in the fridge for an hour until the chocolate has fully set.
Serve and enjoy!
-
Ideally store in the fridge, or a very cool and dry place

OOOHHHHH! These sound so good! Thank You for sharing this yummy recipe! I can’t wait to give it a try.
A super easy recipe! I can get gluten free oreos here in the United States, but I love that you include what you used as an alternative, as well as the texture and deliciousness of each bite. I love cheesecake so these would make a lovely sweet treat now and again, when I want something as good as cheesecake but in a smaller quantity.
Thanks for sharing!
