Hey everyone, I don’t know about you but when I first cut dairy out of my diet I suddenly discovered there’s whey powder in basically everything. I’d never really paid much attention to labels before and it took me by surprise. Why do they feel the need to put milk in dark chocolate? It took me a while, and I ate a lot of awful substitutes, but here is a list of my favourite vegan snacks. Some are nibbles, some are protein bars and others are just good for popping in your handbag. Little disclaimer: I know everyone loves them, but I hate Clif bars and don’t like Lenny and Larry’s Cookies either. I know, I know. Everyone loves a Clif bar.
This post contains a lot of nuts and orange flavouring. If that’s not your thing I won’t be offended if you leave now.
I’m going to start with the ones everyone knows of already.
Nakd Bars.
Everyone knows about these and they come in so many flavours I’m pretty sure that there’s something for everyone. I’m obsessed with their latest flavour; blueberry muffin. Before that, my favourite was cocoa mint which is basically impossible to find where I live, so I used to go for cocoa orange instead.
Nakd bars are made of all-natural ingredients and most of them only have about five ingredients usually consisting of nuts, dates, raisins and flavouring so they’re good for those who are health conscious. And they’re one of your 5 a day so you can’t really complain about that.
I also really like the Nakd Nibbles in the toffee flavour. They’re great added to the top of a smoothie bowl or stirred into some oats.
Another brand everyone knows.
Graze Superfood Oat Squares
These are new, I think. But they have quinoa in them and they’re chocolate orange flavour, so naturally I love them. These aren’t the healthiest out of all the ones I’m showing you as vegetable oils are a main ingredient they are quite high fat, and not the good kind if high fat. They’re also the smallest of all the ones I’m sharing too at just 30g. But they taste good as a little treat.
Trek Bars
They were the first vegan ‘protein’ bar I tried. But honestly I eat them as a regular bar not as a special post-workout protein whatever. They only contain around 10g protein per bar, so they’re not a huge source of protein anyway. Trek come in three forms. The original bars, the flapjacks and the latest addition, chunks. I don’t like the flapjacks, but I love the original bar in the peanut flavour. These bars are quite filling too so they’re a good one to have with you on the go. I also like to eat the chunks in a similar way to the Nakd Nibbles. And my favourites are the toffee ones. I told you this post would be slightly repetitive.
Meridian Almond Bars.
Meridian is my favourite brand of nut butter as it’s made from 100% nuts. No added salt, sugar or palm oils, just nuts. The bars taste like solidified nut butter, delicious. The bars contain a large percentage of Meridian nut butter and are predominantly made from natural ingredients too. As they contain a large amount of nuts they also have a good amount of natural protein rather than an added protein powder.
Pulsin’ Vanilla Choc Chip
This is very important, I do not like most Pulsin’ bars. I find the mint choc and orange choc ones taste like the stereotype of a protein bar. They’re quite powdery and do not have the most pleasant texture.
The vanilla ones however have a base of….nut butter! Yes, I told you, repetitive. The nut butter in the vanilla ones give them a creamier texture than the other flavours. These ones are also on the more filling side too thanks to the added protein.
Perkier Bars
I first tried this one because I went through a phase where I was seriously obsessed with quinoa. I’ve had chocolate quinoa for breakfast before so I know I like the combination of flavours and decided to give it a try in a bar. These ones are a little crunchier than the others I’ve mentioned. They’re slightly crunchy, slightly chewy. A little bit like a healthier rice crispie bar.
I’ve been collecting these bars for a few weeks now. Some of them are quite hard to find where I live, so I’ve had to try really hard not to eat the ones I have while I’ve been waiting to get my hands on the others. I’m going to be spoilt for choice when it comes to snacks this week. Have you tried any of these? Which are your favourite snacks/ bars? I’d love to discover some new ones!
Until next time,
Sophie
Those trek bars are SO yummy!
This post has made me so hungry haha I’ve decided to cut out dairy for a month to see how my body deals with it, so will try and get a hand on these 🙂

Oh my this post is made for me! I had the exact same issue when I stopped eating dairy! Naked and Trek bars are two of my absolute favs! The new blueberry naked bars are the best! I personally wasn’t a fan of the graze ones. Have you tried any from eat natural? They’re a new fav of mine!

There’s a few bars on here I’ll need to try as they look fab. Always good to have a variety of vegan snack options.
Vegan snack bars aren’t as bad as I thought! I’ve tried the Nak’d bar before it was pretty good, however that almond bar looks tasty! Thanks for the recommendations!
I shouldn’t have read this on an empty stomach I am now starving hahaha! They sound delicious, I really want to cut things out my diet and start eating more healthy, I find it really difficult though, hopefully after all the uni stress is out of the way I can focus on getting into health and fitness, I can’t wait to try these snacks and see which ones take my fancy!

Haha! Nuts and oranges are indeed not something my taste palette appreciates, but still I found your list rather helpful. It’s always good to know what everyone’s eating and their opinions about it (always handy to throw in some internet-knowledge when in a casual conversation you’re usually out of your depths in).
The Trek bars sound yummy! Now I’m in desperate need to find a snack… 😉
Love,
Dominique

I haven’t heard of any of these snacks before but I think that’s because they don’t have them in stores where I live. They all sound really yummy though! I especially like the sound of that blueberry muffin Nakd bar! Great post!
I love all of these. I’m not vegan but just try to eat more natural foods, however slimming world frowns strongly upon all of these due to the sugar content in the baked fruits etc and it makes me sad!
I really need to get my hands on some naked bars. They always sound so nice! I love how they are all vegan so literally everybody can eat them. Lea, xx
I’m not really into snack bars as I prefer savoury snacks but some of these sound delicious and I would love to try the Meridian bars
The only two I’ve tried are Trek bars and Nakd bars! I want to try the others too!
I used to eat Trek and Nakd bars when I used to run. They’re great as an easy snack.

naked bars are so yummy, can’t beat them!!
Ooohhh I don’t think I’ve tried any of these! I’m by no means vegan but I’m getting rather bored of my go ahead cereal bars so I may as well give some of these a try!

I have been attempting to pick more vegan or vegetarian treats but I think out of all of these I’d pick the Graze Chocolate Orange bites one for me to look out for. I love the Graze lemon flapjacks as they are so tasty so will have to check this.
Oh my godddd, Nakd bars are my new OBSESSION! My favourites are the blueberry muffin but I also love the banana bread and the lemon drizzle ones too! X
Is it bad that these photos alone are making me crave snack bars?! Hahaha. I’m not vegan but I would love to try these soon! x
Yay!!!! All accessible vegan snacks in one place! I like Trek because it goes with a cup of tea (with soya or almond milk). If you struggle to buy them because of where you live buy them from Amazon or eBay btw! Monica @ thewongblog.com
Oh I love Nakd bars, especially the bakewell tart and carrot cake ones. I hadn’t heard of lots of the other brands so I’ll definitely keep my eye out for them.
These are the snacks I should be eating instead of all the unhealhty snacks I do eat! Although I think there is nothing healthier than snacking on fruits! I like nibbling on grapes or strawberries! x
Ooh I’ve tried Nakd bars but none of these other snacks! I’ll defintiely have to check them out. I’m obsessed with eating as much fruit as possible for snacks!- x
The only one I recognize from this list are the nakd bars! I’ll keep an eye out for these brands that you have mentioned as I definitely need to start keeping some snacks in my bag instead of munching on something super unhealthy haha! xx
I used to buy Nakd bars every day during school – I’ll have to look into the others now! x
Absolutely love all of these!! Have tried the Nakd Posh Bits?? The chocolate orange ones are just x
I love Graze products! I havent had nakd bars in soo long I’d forgotten just how much I loved them!
Sarah
These all look so good! I’ve only tried one or two of these but I never realised there was so much variety. Great post!
I’ve only ever tried the chocolate nakd bars and from what I remember, I really liked them. I’d love to try more flavours xxx
