Last month I told you all about the process of ordering Sundose custom vitamins and here’s my update. Do custom vitamins work for me? Be sure to check out my unboxing post if you want more information about the ordering process. Â
At the point I’m writing this I have 4/5 sachets left, so I’ve pretty much taken my full course. Â
Having a drinkable supplement Â
This was my first time taking supplements that you dissolve in water and I found this to be a positive and a negative in some ways. One big positive is that it helps you get more water in. If you’re already on top of your water intake this might not be a big deal, but if you struggle, an added glass with some extra vitamins thrown in is probably going to be great for you. Â
Of course, the downside is that you have to remember to take it, dissolve it and drink it. Which isn’t always as easy to fit into your day as popping a pill. I keep my supplements on my dressing table and usually take them as I’m getting ready on a morning as they’re right there in front of me sat next to my deodorant – it’s kind of hard to miss. Yes, you can put these sachets on your kitchen counter or next to your coffee, somewhere equally obvious, but it might not always be practical to take them at the moment you’re looking at them.Â
Remembering to take themÂ
With that being said, I’d say in an average month, I probably forget to take my regular tablet supplements two or three times. I think I forgot to mix up my drink 4 or 5, so slightly less regularly but nothing too dramatic.Â

Do custom vitamins work?Â
Time for the bit you’ve been waiting for. If you read my unboxing you’ll know that I wasn’t looking for any major health changes and I was feeling pretty good in general before I started taking them. What I did ask for was something that might improve my skin, just to have something I could easily measure. Â
Well, my skin has been better. Â
This could be down to a few things. I started taking these a couple of days into the new year when my skin was looking particularly rough post festive season. Way too many Kettle Chips and a case or three of prosecco later, I entered the new year with blotchy, dry and generally tired looking skin. It would have been normal to see improvements in that department when life went back to normal and I went back to water and vegetables. But my skin did get better quickly, faster than I would have expected, which I think might be down to these supplements. I always see my diet in my face. Salt makes me puffy. Sugar makes me red and blotchy. A combination of both, as I’m sure you can imagine, isn’t exactly a great look.  Â
Throughout the month my skin has been pretty consistent. The regular signs when I’ve had a few bad days of eating or the couple of weeks I spent barely sleeping so I could stay up and watch the Australian Open haven’t shown their usual sings on my face. Â
In short, I actually think they do work. Not that I was expecting them not to work, but unless you have a really clear goal you’re trying to achieve from a supplement, like more energy etc, it can be hard to see if it’s actually working on a surface level. Â
Do I Recommend?Â
As I said in my unboxing, they won’t be for everyone. However, if you’re the kind of person who already takes a couple of different supplements for various things and spends money on them to begin with, I’d highly recommend checking these out. I love that the initial questionnaire was so thorough and it’s good to know that each thing on the label is actually tailored to your personal needs rather than taking an excessive amount of something you don’t need from a multi-vitamin. Â
Have you ever tried a custom vitamin? Or is it something you’d be tempted to look into in the future? Don’t forget you can use code glowsteadyy to get £20 off your first order! Â
Until next time,Â

I like drinkable vitamins! I had a nice vitamin C drink which helped me to wake up. I also take D and B’s. So far so good xx
This was a very interesting read, I’ve not taken supplements before but I have just made an order to help with my gym goals, so I’m intrigued to see if they work but I’m glad these are working for you!

I’m definitely going to bookmark this for later because I’m starting to really get into taking vitamins and I’ve had great improvements so far. I’m so bad at remembering to take tablets though, so maybe having them in my water would make it easier. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I was interested in hearing your thoughts on this after a month! It’s great you have better skin, seems it has helped! I think this is a great way to get vitamins in instead of taking lots of different tablets! Thank you for sharing Sophie xx
I’d never heard about these vitamins, so that was a very interesting read! x
I take a multi plus extra for hair and nails – they really work I can tell when I’m not taking them. Other than that just a healthy diet really helps.
I enjoy taking these kind of vitamins the most 🙂

I’m really interested in getting custom vitamins! I started watching urmomashley on youtube a few months ago, and she did a sponsorship with a similar company, so I was very intrigued. Going to have to look into the both of these & see if I’d like to try them out x
This is such a cool product! I would definitely take vitamins more often if I could drink them. I always forget to take them. Thanks for sharing this! I will have to check more into it.

Ohh thank you for sharing this. I don’t take any supplements at all but definitely need a boost of vitamin D and B12.
I’m not one that likes liquid “medicines” or supplements so I’m not sure this is for me but it sure seems like a good way to get them into your system.
It’s great you saw results from them and you managed to work them into your routine most of the time! 🙂
Hope you’re having a lovely weekend 🙂
Really interesting post, I didn’t know you could get custom vitamins!

It is great that you got to try out Sundose for a month to see how they really work. OK, I am so bad with remembering to take supplements but I found having an app specifically to remind me to take BC pills on a nightly basis super helpful. It is great that you saw some positive results with your skin. It is really a mixture of everything, so there’s no foul :). Thanks for sharing your experience!

I’m a really big fan of the custom vitamin trend. I’ve been using care/of and it’s been so good for my hair and skin!
Great post!
I love the idea of drinkable vitamins.
I currently take them in pill form and feel like a nice juicy drink would be much more motivated than to take pills (which I often forget
as it is so boring to take them).

I have quite a few vitamin deficiencies, so I think something like this would be ideal! The way it’s broken up into individual doses is so clever xo

I enjoyed mine, will have my post up later this week and say more. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on this x
I take a lot of vitamins and supplements so I’d love to check them out x
