I love this time of year when it comes to food. The core autumnal vegetables, like parsnips and squash, are all in season, but the traditional festive flavours like clementines and cranberries are coming into season too and everything starts to feel a little bit cosier, while still being fresh and delicious. So, what’s in season in November?

Ingredient of the Month
There technically isn’t an ingredient of the month this month. As my Christmas content starts in the final 12 days of November, a recipe a week for a fortnight doesn’t seem worth it. There’s still a final pumpkin recipe to come from October’s ingredient of the month, but there’ll be a few ‘in season’ recipes between now and when Vegmas commences. And of course, the Christmas recipes are full of seasonal ingredients too.
