As I mentioned last month, I’m hoping to share my favourite things I wouldn’t normally talk about on my blog, whether that’s a cracker, protein, sweets – anything edible that isn’t a recipe really. But I also said that in the free from world, you often try a lot of bad stuff before you get to the good stuff. And I thought that February’s post was going to end up being more of a what not to buy than a February food favourites at the start of the month. Thankfully, I’ve found a few things worth praising in the last 10 days or so, so it doesn’t have to be all negative. Â

Ufit…Again Â

I don’t want to talk about these for too long because I mentioned these last month, but I’d only tried the salt and vinegar ones (pictured) at that point. I’ve since tried the Smokehouse BBQ flavour and can confirm that they’re even better, just in case anyone was tempted last time but hasn’t tried them yet. Â
Swizzels PudsÂ

These little gems are amazing. There are a lot of good vegan sweets out there, but sometimes supermarkets don’t have the best choice. And as much as I love them, Skittles get boring sometimes. Â
I was looking for something in Tesco and it was one of those days where I was feeling a little bit deflated by my options. Everything that was vegan seemed to have wheat flour in them, and I was about to reluctantly pick up yet another packet of Jelly Tots that I really didn’t want, then I saw these. Â
They’re like mini Refreshers bars in flavours of traditional desserts, sticky toffee, apple pie, lemon meringue and rhubarb crumble. I loved them, and they were only 69p for a 150g bag. I’m not in Tesco that often and seriously regret not buying 5 bags…next time. As they’re all individually wrapped, I thought they’d be a great option for a sweet jar/ to have in the back of the cupboard as they’ll last a pretty long time. Â
Meridian Cocoa Peanut ButterÂ

I screwed up here. My mistake was one that’s very easily made. I use Meridian nut butters a lot, and they’re all 100% peanut/ almond/ whatever. I was prepping for a future recipe post and was planning on making something involving peanut butter and cocoa powder, then I saw this and added it without checking the ingredients. Coconut is the third ingredient. So, yes it was amazing. I used it for that one recipe. And I won’t be able to eat it again. But for everyone else, try it. It was so good for that brief moment.Â
Have you tried any of these things? Or anything else you can’t stop raving about this month? Â
Until next time,Â
Sophie
Cocoa and Peanut Butter look very delicious. I would like to try it.

I haven’t tried any of these but I definitely would like to! I’m not sure I can find them in Canada, but will look for them. Thanks for sharing!
I really love the look of Swizzels Puds! It sounds like the perfect snack! x

I haven’t tried any of these (not sure if you can get them in Canada or not) but they all sound like great products! I have recently developed a bit of an addiction to Sour Patch Kids… it’s a weakness, and not one that I’m looking to change right now lol I mean, if binging occasionally on candy is the worst thing I’m doing during the lockdown, that’s not all that bad. Right? Hahaha
The cocoa peanut butter sounds really good. I can be a bit funny with peanut butter because of the texture so that might be a way of getting me to eat it.
Such a great selection of food 🙂 I like the sound of the Swizzles Puds – will definitely look out for them xx
Glad your two bites of cocoa peanut butter treat was worth it! The butter itself looks delicious. I am guilty of not checking labels sometimes. All sorts of things sneak into food.
The swizzels look so, so good and flavors sound addictive! I will be looking to see if I can buy in the States. Thank for sharing. 🙂
Haven’t tried any of these (not sure we get them in India?). My Feb favs have been these cookies that a friend introduced me to. I brought a couple of boxes home and have been treating myself to one (or two) each day 🙂

I’ve never heard of Swizzles Puds before but they sound so good!! That Meridian spread sounds really nice too – I may have missed it but how come coconut is a problem for you? xx
Unfortunately, anything with coconut gives me cystic acne. Eating it, makeup, skincare – anything. So strange because I have dry/ not at all acne prone skin & coconut is the only thing that does it but I can only eat the tiniest bit before I breakout x
Oooh the Swizzels Puds sound so good! I feel like there aren’t enough ‘classic pudding’ flavoured things so I’m completely on board with sticky toffee, apple pie, lemon meringue and rhubarb crumble as flavours x

Oh that Meridian cocoa & peanut butter sound really good! I have to be in the mood for peanut butter, but I can imagine the addition of cocoa making me like it more. I didn’t realise you don’t / can’t eat coconut! it’s a shame you can’t use it again! x
ooo the cocoa and peanut butter sound delicious…I bet it tastes yummy in a bake! I will have to have a look out form some of the other items for my mum! (we suspect she has a slight intolerance to gluten)
Thanks for sharing!

Swizzles Puds sound quite interesting! I’ve never heard of them or seen them before I don’t think. It’s a shame about the cocoa and peanut butter having coconut in it, does sound very tasty though. xx
