2tspolive oilor sub for fry spray for a lower fat option
1small red onionfinely chopped
1 ½heaped tbsp harissa paste
1heaped tsp smoked paprika
Crack of black pepper
1large/ 2 small cloves of garlicfinely chopped
250gpassataapprox. 2/3 of a regular sized carton
1can cannellini beansdrained and rinsed
4slicesof seeded breadI used a gluten free sourdough
Instructions
Heat a small saucepan on a low-medium heat. Add the olive oil and cook the onion and garlic for a few minutes. Add the smoked paprika, pepper and harissa paste and cook for a minute then add the passata. Simmer for 5 minutes then stir in the beans and cook for 5 minutes.
