Hi guys, welcome back to 12 Days of Vegmas! I can’t quite believe that November is nearly over. In today’s post, we’re going to be talking about desserts. More importantly, 3 vegan chocolate desserts. I did a post the other day about traditional Christmas desserts you won’t be seeing on my table, this post is all about the things you will find on my table. For those of you looking for a free from option to share with the family, all of these desserts got a nod of approval from my very non-vegan grandparents. I’m pretty sure my grandad wasn’t actually aware that he wasn’t eating dairy…
I’m going to do this post the same way I did my 5 Autumnal Breakfast ideas post, where each recipe has its own post. That way this post isn’t too long and things don’t get too messy. I hope you see something you like the look of!
Rolling this thing was petrifying. Orange chocolate sponge with an orange buttercream in the centre.
I mentioned in the other dessert post that although I would make something like the black forest trifle, that wasn’t on my radar this year because I had something else cherry in mind. Well, this is it. A traditional vegan brownie with additional cherry jam baked into the centre of the sponge.
I’ve saved the best for last. In my opinion, this is the greatest thing I’ve made in a long time. It’s the easiest of the three as well! A buttery chocolate stuffed with biscuits, nuts and raisins. I may have had this for breakfast yesterday…
I hope you saw something here that at least gave you some inspiration. And for any vegans reading this, as with all my Vegmas posts, I really hope this helped! I’d love to know what you usually have for dessert and which of these you like the look of the most! Tomorrow, I’ll be back with the perfect soup starter for Christmas Day.
